Christopher P. Brown Mr. Brown brings 20 years of experience in leadership positions in Finance, Sales and Operations at both Fortune 100 and start-up companies. Mr. Brown began his career at The Boeing Company where he was a key member of a procurement team directing the procurement process for high visibility suppliers, including proposal solicitation, proposal evaluation, cost analysis, contract negotiation, and subcontract administration of multimillion dollar contracts. He was subsequently recruited by American Express as a consultant where, in addition to managing a successful financial advisory practice, he represented American Express Institutional Services in promoting financial products before profit sharing advisory committees and at 401(k) presentation meetings. An accomplished public speaker, he also presented numerous educational workshops on investment strategy, asset allocation and risk management to professional associations and investor groups. Following American Express, Mr. Brown accepted management positions at two venture funded start-up companies, NVST and Exem Company. At NVST, he directed business development, sales and client service efforts for the company’s venture capital network and online investment community representing thousands of entrepreneurs, investors and private equity professionals. He designed and implemented the overall sales strategy for five separate product lines including Business Plan Development Services and Investor Matching Services. As Director of Sales at Exem Company, Mr. Brown established channel sales opportunities with companies developing content management technology to license software to publishers such as Time, The Wall Street Journal and Fast Company.

Mr. Brown also served as a consultant for an early stage data storage company where he led funding efforts and collaborated with the founder to develop strategy, research and analyze current and developing technology, perform detailed market analysis and review and evaluate financial projections. Most recently, Mr. Brown served as Sr. Underwriter for MILA, Inc, where he supervised, trained and mentored ten to fifteen team members to effectively analyze, underwrite and accurately assess the credit risk of lending scenarios involving $8,000,000 to $12,000,000 per day in financial decisions. Mr. Brown was also responsible for performing detailed analysis of internal operational reports and adjusting resources and workflow assignments to optimize operational efficiency. As part of that process, he frequently wrote and produced departmental business process flows designed to increase employee production, streamline operations and reduce costs associated with production. Currently, Mr. Brown volunteers as Program Manager for two educational organizations (Consoling Communities and Consoling Grace) which are designed to build community support during illness and grief. He has collaborated with the founder in developing the business model and creating a marketing plan as well as providing consultation on the strategic use of technology to enhance community education and support. Mr. Brown graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Finance.
