AVM Biotechnology

AVM Biotechnology, located in Seattle, WA, was founded in response to growing concerns about the need for safe, effective, affordable and ethical medicines and therapeutic treatments.

Within our communities, regardless of their political, cultural, social or religious beliefs, families are becoming increasingly concerned about how our medicines and health care treatments are being developed.

They are questioning the safety, the ethical standards, the types of human cells being used, the risks these human cells present, and how certain human cell types are being utilized in the production of drugs.

These concerns need to be addressed with straight, honest answers using readily understood terminology.

Coming together to form AVM Biotechnology in
order to address these issues, leading scientists, business and community activists and policy makers agreed that they would take on the following tasks:

• Educate the public on the important difference in the safety and efficacy of adult and cord blood stem cells, versus embryonic and aborted fetal stem cells.

• Focus on providing true medical benefits from economical stem cell research that is respectful to human life and taxpayer dollars.

• Provide direct answers to questions and concerns in easily understood language.

• Work to provide safe, effective and affordable alternative vaccines and stem cell therapies that are untouched by embryonic or electively aborted fetal materials.

• Establish a comprehensive and diverse assemblage of advisors, ambassadors, scientists, medical professionals, politicians, policy makers, academics and supporters who will educate and engage the general public on the issues and answers.
