As compared to commercially available versions of the API, which contain potentially toxic excipients, AVM0703 is a new formulation of an existing API with a composition of matter patent filed and it is ready for Phase 2 clinical trials. In addition to its general anti-inflammatory and lympho depleting properties, AVM0703 is dosed to transiently reduce the size and number of stem cell binding niches in the secondary lymphatic system.
